NRP Hands-On Session$150

The Neonatal Resuscitation Program™ Mandatory Instructor Led Skills Check Off Event for Initial & Renewals. You must complete the online cognitive portion of the NRP training before you can attend the Hands-on Session. To complete:

Step 1 - Study It is highly recommended that you purchase the Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation 7th Edition and study prior to taking the online portion of the course. You can purchase the book here.

Step 2 - eLearning If you haven't already click here to register and take the online cognitive portion of the course. This is a separate step offered by the American Association of Pediatrics via HealthStream which you will pay $35 seperately when you register for the online portion . You must complete Hands-On Session within 90 days of completing your NRP Online Exam or else the exam will need to be retaken. 

Step 3 - Hands-On Session Register for and complete one of our hands-on skills sessions. The cost $150 which you will pay at time of registration. Print your CE certificate which can be found in your HealthStream account and must be brought with you to the Hands-On Session. 

Successful completion of the online exam and the skills demonstration will result in an American Academy of Pediatrics/AHA NRP certification card valid for two years.

Course Overview

The Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing, online case-based simulations, and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and team-work skills. The course is completed in three steps: 1) Study, 2) Online Cognitive Portion & 3) Hands-On Session. Successful completion of the online exam and the skills demonstration will result in an American Academy of Pediatrics/AHA NRP certification card valid for two years.
